I want Stephanie as my photographer! How do I commission her services?
Call or email to check our availability, especially for your wedding date. We will arrange a meeting to discuss your interests and ideas to make your portraits or wedding unique.  Either the Portrait Commission fee or One-third of the full wedding balance is due at the time the contract is signed.

The session was so much fun! Now, when will I preview my images?
You should expect to come to a See & Select session within 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding.  Portrait See & Select Sessions are usually within 7 to 10 days after your sitting.

I loved the images – I want em’ all! When will I receive my album?
Quality takes time! Many of our albums are created in Europe and overseas in addition to a lengthy design process.  Albums can take up to 3 months after approval of the design depending on the type of album being created.  We promise – it’s worth the wait!

Who is the assistant / second photographer? Why do you require one?
Weddings are a huge photographic undertaking.  It’s our job not to miss a moment!  Assistants and second photographers help make the day run smoothly – carrying lenses, back-up batteries, holding reflectors… They are really the ones to thank!

Are negatives included in my wedding collection? How soon will I get them?
Well, we haven’t used film in awhile… but digital negatives are available for purchase with wedding collections.  They will be delivered to you approximately 1 year after your wedding date, and after your album order has been completed.  A Digital Collection is available for portrait clients as well.  Please consult the studio for further details.

You haven’t photographed at my wedding locations before? Will you be able to do it?
Of course!  We always “stake out” the location before the big day.  However, we’ve also photographed at many private houses and locations closed to the public.

How far in advance are you booked?
Often, we book well over 12 months in advance.  Certain times of the year, particularly summer and early autumn, book faster than others.  Please call to check availability.  We only accept up to 20 weddings each calendar year, and weddings are only accepted on a case-by-case basis.

We come see you all the time! Do you offer any client referral incentives?
For our couples who have booked their wedding with us, we offer a $200 cash bonus for every friend you recommend who books with us.  Additionally, your friends will receive $200 off their wedding package as well, so make sure to get the word out!  Portrait clients will be graciously thanked for their loyalty with special offers and promotions throughout the year.

Do you accept checks?
Yes.  Regarding wedding deposits:  We accept national checks only when a valid driver’s license number and expiration date are written in the memo line.  We must also have a phone number of the authorizing party written on the check. International checks will not be accepted under any condition.  Please do not write a check for an amount over the invoice, as it will be voided immediately.  We know this scam already, spam-bots!

What is Copyright? If I own the negatives, do I also own the Copyright?
Copyright is, literally, the “right to copy” a specific work and copyright is owned solely by the originator of the work from the moment of it’s creation.  That means that Stephanie Millner Photography & Design owns the exclusive copyright of all the images.  While we offer digital negatives to wedding clients, this does not release the copyright.  This means that while the images can be reproduced by a quality, professional lab, they are still the sole property of Ms. Millner and her studio.

Copyright violation, while often unintentional, is something we take very seriously.  Violation includes, but is not limited to, copying images from a website, printing images for publication, scanning and printing images that have not been rightfully purchased, or bringing a CD of released images to a non-pro lab to reproduce.  Violation of copyright will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  If you know of a store that is illegally copying professional work, please let us know.
